Sparkling Diamond Ring[1]The manager at a Florida PetSmart (NASDAQ:PETM[2]) has earned a woman’s undying gratitude by finding the valuable missing piece to her engagement ring.

The woman — Katie Sattler of Vero Beach, Fla. — says she realized the 3-carat, $30,000 diamond in her ring was missing while she was driving home from having her dog groomed at the shop, reports WPBF News[3].

Sattler admits she “freaked” when she realized her loss. She initially called her husband, who told WPBF, “She’s just frantically crying. I knew something was seriously wrong. She’s just hyperventilating and I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on.”

Desperately, Sattler called PetSmart. Manager Jeff Lamscha answered her call. “I couldn’t understand her at first,” he said. “There was stuttering, sounded like crying. I wasn’t sure what was going on.”

However, Lamscha went to the dog grooming station and found the diamond in less than a minute. He said it never occurred to him to do anything other than tell Sattler she could come pick it up at anytime.
