swedish meatballs[1]A woman is facing two years in prison for allegedly trying to take a bag of frozen meatballs.

Estelle Casimir — a housekeeper at the West Point Military Academy — is charged with stealing the meatballs from the mess hall at the school, reports WPTV[2].

Casimir pled not guilty to the charges, according to her attorney. She is facing two misdemeanor charges, one of stealing property and another of possessing stolen property. A manager at the mess hall allegedly saw Casimir with the bag of meatballs and reported her.

Pending the outcome of the case, Casimir has been suspended from her job at the academy. If convicted, she could face 2 years in prison and a $2,000 fine.
