nutella[1]Thieves in Germany have made off with 11,000 pounds of the sticky treat Nutella.

The robbers — who stole the goods from a parked trailer — took the sweet spread in the town of Bad Hersfeld, the International Business Times reports[2].

The street value of 5.5 tons of the hazelnut spread is said to be $20,710, police say. The authorities say they suspect the same bandits also stole cases of energy drinks from a parked truck in the same location earlier. There are few leads in the robbery.

Nutella has been in robbery news before. Students at New York’s Columbia University were stealing so much of the stuff from the dining halls[3] that it cost the school $5,000 per week to keep the cafeteria stocked.
