Police are investigating a small explosion at Disney‘s (DIS) Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California.
The blast occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Toontown area of the park. Police said the explosion was caused by a small bomb composed of dry ice in a plastic bottle that was deposited in a trash can, the Los Angeles Times noted.
The Toontown attraction was evacuated after the incident as a precautionary measure. No one was injured in the blast. A number of similar explosive devices have been recently found throughout the Anaheim area.
Police indicated that they are examining video surveillance of the park to see if they can identify who placed the device in the trash can. They are also monitoring social media looking for clues and possible claims of responsibility.
Shares of Disney fell more than 1% in Wednesday morning trading.
