Shows like Say Yes to the Dress might feature glamorous bridal gowns that cost soon-to-be brides thousands of dollars, but not every can afford (or wants) to shell out that kind of cash for their wedding day.
Have no fear, though. Do-it-all discounter Target (TGT) is here with a solution. The retailer recently announced that it will begin offering wedding gowns, part of a line called Tevolio (a rough translation of an Italian phrase meaning “I love you”), that cost just $99.99 and $129.99.
Target will offer four different gowns in two colors and a wide range of sizes, while also carrying 10 bridesmaid dresses, two flower girl outfits and — you guessed it — little tuxes for ring bearers, all reasonably priced.
As the company put it:
“With a comprehensive bridal collection, Target is now a one-stop shop for all your nuptial necessities. The betrothed can dress their bridal parties, shop for stationery and register for everything and anything they need to start a new life together.”
In fact, shoppers can even buy the bridal offerings online, where other items like jewelry and shoes are also suggested. I wonder if rival Walmart (WMT) will follow suit any time soon.
