Ebay (EBAY) announced via its blog Thursday, that iPhone users could download the eBay Exact app.
The app will allow users to purchase printed materials from three 3D printing companies; MakerBot, Sculpteo, and Hot Pop Factory. Users can purchase around 20 items at the moment, and are able to customize the items to suite their taste. Prices range from around $9 for a plastic iPhone case to $350 dollars for a metal ring, reads the blog.
The blog also says that users who chose to order from Sculpteo have the option of viewing a 3D model of the product prior to purchasing.
Currently eBay Exact is only available to iPhone users. There is no word yet on if the app will make its way to Android devices.
