As part of its ongoing expansion, the free video-sharing website YouTube (GOOG[1]) is building a new production studio similar to the ones in London, Tokyo and Los Angeles.

According to The Wrap[2], YouTube has announced that it will open up a brand new production studio in New York next year. The company broke the news at VidCon, the largest online video conference in the world, which was held in Anaheim this year.

The New York studio will have a similar function to the other ones which give YouTube filmmakers the opportunity to shoot their videos there. Additionally, these studios provide producers with state-of-the-art equipment at a cheap price.

The YouTube community continues to rise as the website now exists in 56 countries and 61 languages. Additionally, YouTube garners over 1 billion different users every month, making it the most watched video-sharing website on the Internet.
