H&M is finally introducing its upscale brands COS in the U.S. in major cities with an international presence.
brandchannel reports that the brand — which is very popular in Europe, Asia and the Middle East — is making its U.S. debut in New York City’s Soho neighborhood next spring. H&M is planning on releasing COS stores around the country as well as online. The company’s head of business Marie Honda says that she thinks the brand could be huge in the U.S. after testing a pop-up store in NYC earlier this month.
COS is an artsy alternative to the trendy nature of H&M that has 75 stores and will have 40 more by the end of 2014.
