Jeff Bezos Amazon[1]A new book detailing the founding of Internet retail giant Amazon (AMZN[2]) has received a big thumbs down[3] from the wife of the company’s founder.

Naturally, MacKenzie Bezos took to Amazon itself to pan The Everything Store by Brad Stone. She gave the book just one-star (out of a possible five) and criticized the book as containing “too many inaccuracies,” USA TODAY notes.

Other readers thought more highly of the book, with 30 giving it five-star reviews. Bezos’ review was initially the most negative and offered the lowest number of stars, but has since been joined by at least two other one-star reviews[4].

Stone told USA TODAY that he stood by his work but “will gladly fix” any errors. He added that Jeff Bezos was offered the chance to fact-check the book, but passed on the opportunity.

In her review, MacKenzie Bezos said that the book offered a “lopsided and misleading portrait of the people and culture at Amazon.”
