Panera-Branded Coffee K-Cups Coming to Grocery Store Shelves

paneraBreadLogoCoffee lovers who like to make their favorite drink with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ (GMCR) Keurig coffee brewers now have a new single serving option.

Though better know for its breads, cafe-chain Panera (PNRA) has launched a line of branded K-Cup coffees. A Panera official said the K-Cup coffees would allow consumers to replicate the fresh coffee experience of its cafes in their kitchens, Food Business notes.

The Panera K-Cups are produced under a partnership between Panera and Distant Lands Coffee. Consumers can choose among hazelnut creme, dark roast, light roast and Columbia varieties.

Panera is just the latest restaurant chain to enter the K-Cup coffee market. Dunkin’ Donuts (DNKN) and Starbucks (SBUX) already offer K-Cup versions of their coffees.

Shares of Panera rose more than 1% in Thursday morning trading.
