AT&T (T), announced on Wednesday, that it is ending its 12-year sponsorship with American Idol.
AT&T didn’t give a reason for ending its sponsorship with American Idol, but it did wish the program its best.
“We’ve been proud to be a part of this groundbreaking TV series for the past 12 years,” AT&T told Variety. “We wish our friends at American Idol continued success.”
AT&T’s cut sponsorship hasn’t stopped Ford Motors (F) and Coca-Cola (KO) from giving their support. The two companies will stay on and sponsor Fox’s (FOXA) 13th season of American Idol, Variety notes.
Besides AT&T ending its sponsorship of American Idol, the show has also undergone three big changes for its 13th season.
