Domino’s Pizza (DPZ[1]) and Ford (F[2]) have partnered up to create a new, easy way to order pizza while driving.

domino's[3]The two companies will launch the Easy Order platform for Domino’s mobile app that will allow consumers to order hands-free[4]. The app will use Ford’s voice-activated SYNC system in order to order pizza for delivery or pickup without calling or using the internet.

“This is, no question, one of the coolest in a long list of recent technology innovations for Domino’s,” CEO Patrick Doyle said in a statement. “To be able to partner with a brand like Ford, with its terrific SYNC technology, to offer yet another way to bring our ordering app experience to life makes it all the better.”

As great as the Easy Order capability is, it is only limited to previously-saved orders from consumers. The platform is expected to be available for more than 1 million Ford cars with the SYNC system by the middle of 2014.

DPZ stock is up 0.3% in early afternoon trading Wednesday. Ford shares have also benefited from the news with F stock up 1.75%.
