Bitspin said its current alarm clock app for Android devices, Timely, would continue to function. Google did not reveal terms of the acquisition. The development team for Bitspin includes two former interns from Google+, ZDNet notes.

The Google Play app store is now offering Timely as a free app. Prior to the acquisition, Android users had to pay to install the app, which allows for customized alarm clock options.
