Steven Lalicata, who wed Candice Feinberg in 2011, convinced her that he owed gambling debts of $744,000 to organized crimes members. Feinberg, whose father invented seamless underwear, believed her husband would suffer physical harm if his debts weren’t paid. Instead of paying off his nonexistent debts, Lalicata allegedly spent the money on Diana Fernandez, reports the Huffington Post.

The charade of the gambling debt went so far that Lalicata even took his wife to a bank to withdraw $150,000. After withdrawing the money, the couple met with a “mobster” who took the money and told Feinberg “You just bought your husband back,” reports the New York Post[3].

Now Lalicata is facing a $10 million lawsuit that was filed by his wife. Lalicata’s lawyer is denying that Diana Fernandez is the husband’s mistress and instead claims that they are just friends. Feinberg lawsuit doesn’t see it this way, and claims that the mistress sent her text about sexual activities between her and the woman’s husband, the Huffington Post notes.
