S&P 500’s 2013 Gains All in One Chart: What a Year!

For those of you who didn’t want to spend time agonizing and analyzing year-end of year S&P 500 figures over your New Year’s Day coffee, let me show you in one chart how well the market performed in 2013:


The S&P 500 including dividends was up 32.39% last year. Over the last 27 months, the S&P 500 has returned 71.72%.

Not too bad, right? Now that you’ve seen the best of the overall news, go ahead and find your own portfolio values.

Hopefully you’ve managed to share in the strong rise both this year and over the past 27 month period.
