Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Coffee K-Cups Coming to a Keurig Near You

The Krispy Kreme single-serve blends will hit stores this year


Coffee loves hoping to see their favorite Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (KKD) branded coffees available in single-serve packages for the Keurig brewer can rejoice.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Keurig-owner Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) have announced a multi-year deal to launch Krispy Kreme Doughnuts coffee varieties, including Smooth and Decaf, in K-cup packages. The K-Cup packs of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts blends will be release before the close of this year.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Krispy Kreme Doughnuts K-Cups will be available at supermarkets and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts locations, as well as the the online stores of Keurig and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

Shares of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts stock gained slightly on the news. KKD stock has risen more than 35% over the past year. GMCR stock fell slightly in Wednesday morning trading. GMCR shares have surged more than 170% over the past twelve months.
