Krispy Kreme Menu Adds 2 New Donut Flavors

The new pastries will be available only through March


Lovers of coffee and doughnuts can rejoice — at least for a while. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (KKD) has unveiled two new coffee-flavored doughnuts for a limited time.

Krispy Kreme says that its Mocha Kreme Doughnut combines chocolate and coffee flavors, along with milk chocolate icing, a mocha topping and a milk chocolate swirl. The Caramel Coffee Kreme Doughnut is covered in caramel, mocha drizzle, coffee Kreme and coffee-flavored icing.

The Mocha Kreme and Caramel Coffee Kreme doughnuts can be found at participating Krispy Kreme locations across North America through March 30.

Last week, Krispy Kreme announced a deal with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) to bring Krispy Kreme coffee varieties to Keurig brewer-friendly K-Cup packages by the end of this year.

Krispy Kreme has been looking to increase coffee sales at its stores in a bid to raise overall sales. The company operates more than 800 locations in 20 countries worldwide.

KKD stock climbed more than 1% in Tuesday morning trading. Krispy Kreme shares have risen more than 35% over the past year.
