Wells Fargo Remains the No. 1 Bank Brand in World

The brand is worth more than $30 billion


Wells Fargo (WFC) is the most valuable bank brand in the world for the second year running with a reported value of over $30 billion.

Wells FargoBrand Directory just released its list of the 500 most valuable banking brands in 2014 and four American banks were in the top 5. Wells Fargo stayed put in the #1 spot, followed by British bank HSBC (HSBC), and American banks Bank of America (BAC), Citi (C) and Chase (JPM).

Brand Finance analysts discovered that banks have been placing more emphasis on the customer in recent years. “With the focus on customer satisfaction and competitiveness of the products they are offering, I think we will see brand strengths grow,” said COO Bryn Anderson.

WFC stock is down over 1% in early trading Monday.
