Dropbox is revolutionizing how we share images with Carousel, a photo-sharing app.

Carousel[1]Carousel is an iOS and Android app saves every photo[2] you’ve ever taken along with every photo you’ll take from now on. The app uses the cloud and stores the photos online in every user’s Dropbox account.

Carousel also syncs the photos across multiple devices in order to make the photo-sharing process easier. The app allows you to share photos via email or through mobile devices in a similar way to how you send an SMS, according to Mailbox co-founder Gentry Underwood.

Underwood used Carousel to access every picture he’s ever had on a device which dates back to 1976. He showcased the app in a demonstration where he took photos and displayed them showing up in real time on both iOS and Android devices.
