The McDonald’s mascot has ditched his yellow jumpsuit for a red and yellow suit. Ronald McDonald now wears yellow pants, a red and white striped shirt and a red jacket. The clown still wears big red shoes, yellow gloves retains his bright red hair, reports The Los Angeles Times.

Ronald McDonald won’t be getting his own Twitter account, but he will start posting under existing McDonald’s accounts. The clown has confirmed that he will be posting selfies to Twitter and McDonald’s says that he will start to appear in his new outfit in TV ads, Fox News notes.

“Customers today want to engage with brands in different ways, and Ronald will continue to evolve to be modern and relevant,” Dean Barrett, McDonald’s senior vice president, told L.A. Times.

MCD shares were up slightly as of Thursday afternoon.
