Francesco’s Pizzeria in Mumbai experimented with pizza delivery by drones on May 11, delivering a pizza to a building a mile away from the restaurant. However, Mumbai police and Indian civil aviation authorities were less than thrilled with the sudden test of pizza delivery by drones and say they are looking into the incident. The pizzeria that tried pizza delivery by drones says that the drones didn’t climb higher than 400 feet and didn’t pass over any secured installations in the city.
