Two and a Half Men has had slipping rating over the past few years, but has remained a hit for CBS. The reason for the falling ratings is likely due to the departure of much of the original cast. Charlie Sheen was fired from the show in 2010 and Angus T. Jones has also left the show, reports The Chicago Tribune.

CBS’ Nina Tassler said that Chuck Lorre, creator of Two and a Half Men, has many surprises in store for the final season. When asked it Sheen would be making a return, she said that she didn’t know if that was one of the surprises viewers can expect, The Tribune notes.

According to the Huffington Post, Tassler also said that the final season of Two and a Half Men will have a season-long event to finish the series.
