Cedar Point has reopened after a water main break shut the amusement park down on Saturday.
Cedar Point is working to refund families that were unable to enjoy the park over the weekend due to the water main break. At the same time, the amusement park is also offering a special from now until June 15 that allows visitors to add a free Soak City ticket to a one day ticket to the park, reports Viral Global News.
The water main at Cedar Park also caused issues in the surrounding areas. Citizens living in Sandusky were were given a boil advisory as a result of the water break, Viral Global News notes.
The water main break was fixed on Saturday, but it came too late to reopen the park. As a result, Cedar Point decided not to reopen until Monday. This is the third time that this water main has broken. However, the other two times it broke where when the park was already closed.
