The company stopped delivering DVDs on Saturdays in June but most of its customers didn’t even realize the move. Although the company has plenty of DVD customers (8.2 million at the beginning of the year), Netflix has about three times as many streaming customers.
The move makes sense financially but some customers are very upset over how secretive the movie provider was about getting rid of Saturday deliveries. Some Netflix users went to the company’s website to express their displeasure while others were shocked when they found out about the move through news sources.
NFLX stock is down close to 1% Wednesday afternoon.
