TSLA News: Tesla Owners Take Out Ad to Get Elon Musk’s Attention

Elon Musk responded to the ad

Two “highly satisfied” Model S owners took out an ad in the Palo Alto Daily to get Tesla Motors (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk’s attention, and it worked.

tesla-tsla-elon-musk-adMusk posted a picture of the full-page ad on Twitter (TWTR) and responded to suggestions made by the the ad’s authors. The ad had several safety and convenience suggestions for the Tesla CEO, who they referred to as an “Automotive Visionary.”

Here are a few suggestions that the authors of the ad had for Musk.

  • Blind spot and cross-traffic monitors.
  • Voice activated dialing.
  • A larger “answer icon” for incoming calls on the Model S’ touchscreen.
  • Move the cup holder forward.
  • Make the power charging cap close after a charging cable has been removed.

In his Tweet of the newspaper ad, Musk said that many of the suggestions made by the Tesla Model S owners “will be implemented soon.” However, he didn’t specify which suggestions he was referring to.
