The studio is weighing its options but its intent of making a worthy adaptation of the video game franchise. Take-Two Interactive President Karl Slatoff said that an Grand Theft Auto movie would only happen under their terms.
Slatoff wants to get the best talent he can for the movie and he wants Take-Two to be involved in the creative process for the film. The studio also believes that the video game franchise would not be tarnished by a poor movie.
Grand Theft Auto V made more than $1 billion in sales during its first three days, making it the fastest-selling entertainment product ever.
TTWO stock is up 4.67% Friday afternoon.
