GME, T: GameStop to Sell Cricket Phones

GameStop (GME) announced Monday morning that the chain will now be selling AT&T‘s (T) Cricket phones.

GameStopCustomers can now go to the video-game chain to buy smartphones and pre-paid service from AT&T’s Cricket Wireless service.

2,800 of GameStop’s more than 4,200 US stores will sell these phones. Customers can use video game or electronics credit to buy a Cricket phone.

Both the chain and the Cricket brand have loyalty programs that offer discounts on future purchases. GameStop will begin selling Cricket phones starting next month.

GME stock is down 2.12% Monday afternoon. T stock is down 0.4%.
