The hotel company’s new additions include YouTube star Jack Harris, Snapchat phenomenon Casey Neistat and Ghost Whisperer producers Ian Sander and Kim Moses.
The move is designed to help build Marriott Content Studio, an entertainment division of the company designed to create digital content.
Marriott is releasing a web series called “Marriott Rewards’ Year of Surprises” through its new division. The show features celebrity hosts helping out local community leaders.
The company is also starting a campaign called “Travel Brilliantly” alongside tech startup Naritiv. The feature will be similar to Snapchat’s stories for other websites and apps.
Marriott Content Studio is also developing short films on certain travel destinations, as well as a narrative digital drama series.
