The Pantone Color of the Year 2015 is Marsala.
The Pantone Color of the Year 2015 gets its name from Marsala wine. Pantone describes the color as a “robust and earthy wine red.” The company suggests using it as a strong base color or for accents.
“This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors,” Leatrice Eiseman, the Executive Director at the Pantone Color Institute, said while talking about the Pantone Color of the Year 2015.
