Ford (F), Toyota (TM), Honda (HMC) and Nissan all posted lower-than-expected sales growth for the month. General Motors (GM) posted better-than-expected sales thanks to a rise in truck sales.
Light vehicle transaction prices rose 4% to $33,299, compared to the year-ago period.
