Carnival Cruise Bans All Carry-On Bottled Drinks

Carnival Cruise (NYSE:CCL) has a new policy about bringing bottled drinks as part of your carry-on luggage.

You can no longer bring bottled drinks of any sort with the exception of one unopened 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne. The rest will have to stay at home.

Carnival Cruise is allowing a maximum of 12 unopened 12-ounce cans or cartons per person to reduce the number of outside drinks brought in by customers. This includes soda, juice, milk or sparkling water.

Distilled water is allowed for people who need it for a CPAP machine or for a baby. Carnival Cruise will sell 12-packs of distilled water for $2.99 plus taxes.

CCL stock is up 0.06% Wednesday.
