GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) stock is up as the company announced the launch of a new camera.
The Hero+ LCD camera is a more affordable version of the Hero4Silver model. GoPro’s new product will offer a touch display, as well as a camera video trimming feature.
The Hero+ LCD camera will retail for $299, compared to the $399 price tag of the Hero4Silver. It will be available in the U.S on June 6 and internationally on July 12.
GoPro recently announced plans to embark in a couple of new projects including drone cameras and virtual reality.
GPRO stock is up 5.52% Monday.
