7-Eleven Adds More Lockers for E-Commerce Pickups

The lockers are a delivery option for a number of retailers

7-Eleven is adding more lockers of e-commerce pickup.

7-ElevenThe company announced that it will hold packages from Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Fedex (NYSE:FDX), UPS (NYSE:UPS), Walmart (NYSE:WMT) and other retailers.

The move will apply to packages from these companies ordered online that you can now pick up at 7-Eleven as a new option of delivery.

U.S. and Canada customers who don’t want packages on their doorsteps can arrange to have online orders delievered at 200 7-Eleven locations they can open by scanning bar codes sent over email to their smartphones.

The scan will automatically open the locker containing their purchases.

AMZN stock is down 1.05% Thursday. FDX stock is down 1.25% Thursday. UPS stock is down 1.3%.WMT stock is down 0.9%.
