On a reported basis, Briggs & Stratton posted earnings per share of 28 cents in the quarter, marking an increase from 15 cents recorded in the prior-year quarter.
Briggs & Stratton reported revenues of $413 million in the second quarter, down 7% year over year. Revenues were behind the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $434 million.
BGG stock is up 12.1% Thursday.
