The house that the seven Ty Cobb baseball cards were found in belonged to the family’s deceased great-grandfather. The family has chosen to remain anonymous, but had the cards evaluated and they should be worth about $1 million, reports Detroit Free Press.

The Ty Cobb baseball cards discovered by the family are from the T206, which includes other rate cards. The discovered cards are identical and range in condition from 3.5 to 4.5. Only 15 of the cards were known to exist before this discovery, Detroit Free Press notes.

“The T206 set is known as ‘The Monster’ among collectors,” Chris Ivy, Heritage Auction Galleries’ director of sports auctions, told The Washington Post in 2010. “It’s just really tough to complete the entire set.”
