ThPeople born in Cuba are eligible to visit a Carnival Cruise Line (NYSE:CCL) trip.
The Caribbean country announced on Friday that Cubans and Cuban-Americans will no longer be banned from going on a vacation cruise.
The imposition was uplifted by the country and they can now travel through a Carnival Cruise Line–Cubans have not had access to this luxury since the Cuban Revolution in 1959.
Starting on April 26, people from Cuba have the freedom to enter and leave country as passengers and crew members of cruise ships.
The first available cruise for members of the country will be the May 1 trip “Fathom,” which begins sailing from three Cuban cities.
CCL stock is down 1.3% Friday.
