Crocs, Inc.’s (CROX) shoes may not be the best for your feet.
The Huffington Post recent spoke with two podiatrists over the quality of Crocs. Both of them agreed that the shoes aren’t good for all-day wear due to a lack of heel support and the flexible shank.
The same is also true for flip flops and other types of footwear that don’t offer proper heel support and have flexible shanks. However, the shoes are good for short trips. Just don’t use them for long walks.
“When the heel is unstable, toes tend to grip which can lead to tendinitis, worsening of toe deformities, nail problems, corns and calluses,” Dr. Megan Leahy told Huffington Post.
