The event was being held in Dallas and 7,000 people showed up for it. About 40 were injured while trying to walk across hot coals, but there were only five that chose to go to a hospital after an ambulance was called by one of the attendees.

The fire-walking event being held by Tony Robbins took place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. He held a similar event at this location two years ago, but there were no complaints of burns during that one, reports The Dallas Morning News.

One of the witnesses that attended to the motivational event being hosted by Tony Robbins said that some people walking across the hot coals were distracted while taking selfies and videos. She believes this may have been the cause for some of the burns.
