With all the news swirling around about it, some may be wondering to themselves “What is Brexit?”
Brexit is a current debate going on across the pond that has the British arguing over whether or not they should remain members of the European Union. The debate will be voted on by citizens on June 23.
Those that are for staying in the EU claim it’s a necessity for the country to remain financially stable, but still express their dislike for the organization’s decisions. Those for leaving fear for Britain’s identity and want immigration laws to be more strict, reports The New York Times.
