Tim Plaehn, editor of The Dividend Hunter, 30 Day Dividends, Automatic Income Machine, and Dividend Options Machine. Tim is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in mathematics and was an F-16 Fighter Pilot and flight instructor with the United States Air Force. During his time in the service he was stationed at various military locations in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Tim has been previously been a stock broker and Certified Financial Planner prior to becoming the dividend and income expert with Investors Alley. Tim’s area of specialty is evaluating income generating investments to find the combination of sustainable and growing dividends, special dividend opportunities, and share price appreciation driven by management’s commitment to dividend growth.

Bret Jensen, editor of Blue Chip Gems, Biotech Gems, and Small Cap Gems. Bret is a graduate from Arizona State University and worked for over 15 years for American Express with progressively greater responsibility helping to shape their use of technology. After semi-retiring from American Express Bret became chief investment strategist and the co-founder of Simplified Asset Management (S.A.M.), a small long/short hedge fund based in Miami. The fund was in the top 5% of long/short hedge funds for total return in its first full year as ranked by Hedgeco fund database (more than 450 funds in category). Bret now oversees several newsletters with Investors Alley in addition to being a regular contributor with Seeking Alpha and TheStreet.
