No one will be surprised if Chris Christie is re-elected as governor of New Jersey but he could be due for bigger things if he continues to play his cards right.
NJ.com reports that Time put Christie on the cover of the magazine’s latest issue which focuses on how he could become the next Republican president. The governor has become increasingly popular and many are backing him to become the next GOP presidential candidate.
Time’s cover story said that Christie — who considers himself to be a true conservative – “has run the Garden State with combustible passion, blunt talk and the kind of bipartisan deal-making that no one seems to do anymore.” Additionally, many Hispanic and African American voters are starting to back up Christie which could be key in his presidential campaign.
