bridalSame-sex couples will soon be able to tie the knot in Wales and England.

On Tuesday, the United Kingdom’s House of Commons passed a law legalizing gay marriage. Debate over the law, which was personally endorsed by Prime Minister David Cameron, took two hours, Reuters notes.

Queen Elizabeth is expected to give final approval to the law. Gay couples have been able to obtain civil partnerships in the United Kingdom for some time.
