AAPL: Apple Back-to-School Promotion Features $100 iTunes Gift Card

Apple (AAPL[1]) is offering gift cards[2] to qualified students that are gearing up to go back to school this fall.

Apple is offering students that purchase any Mac –minus the Mac Mini– a $100 Apple Store gift card. Students who purchase an iPad Mini, iPad Air or an fourth generation iPad can get a $50 gift card. The $50 gift card can also be obtained by students purchasing an iPhone 5s, 5c or 4s, reports Mac Rumors.

This is the first time that Apple has included the iPhone  in its yearly student purchase promotion. Qualified students looking to purchase one of the listed devices can also look for educational discounts being offered by the company to students, Apple Insider[4] notes,

The Apple student purchase promotion starts today and will last until September 9. It is currently available in the united States and its expected to roll out in several other countries as well, reports Mac Rumors.
