Dawn Pennington

Dawn Pennington is a freelance financial journalist and principal at Palm Beach Publishing. For nearly a decade, she has worked as an editor, writer, product-developer, marketer and educator for major investment publishers InvestorPlace Media (formerly Phillips Investment Resources), Agora Publishing, and as a contract employee for several others.

In addition to her specialty in options and fluency in futures, commodities, currencies and equities, Ms. Pennington has done extensive research into the world of small caps, emerging markets, offshore investments and income-producing strategies. She also has a background in leadership, strategic development and team-building.

Prior to joining the financial publishing field, she served as editor-in-chief of Counseling Today, the Washington, D.C.-based American Counseling Association’s flagship publication, which aims to educate and empower therapists at all stages of their careers. She previously served as the Communications Director for a kinship foster care agency in Pittsburgh.
