Jordan Maglich

Jordan Maglich is a securities attorney with Wiand Guerra King P.L. in Tampa, Fla., where his practice includes complex commercial litigation and regulatory matters, with a focus on securities and financial services litigation. Jordan also represents court-appointed receivers in connection with civil enforcement actions by state and federal regulators, including current representation of (i) the court-appointed receiver nominated by the Securities and Exchange Commission in Arthur Nadel’s $350 million Ponzi scheme; and (ii) the court-appointed receiver nominated by the State of Florida Office of Financial Regulation in an alleged $16 million investment fraud.

Jordan also serves as the editor and founder of Ponzitracker, an Internet blog that tracks the proliferation of Ponzi schemes across the United States. The blog has been recognized as one of ABA Journal’s Top 100 “Blawgs,” and was also named by LexisNexis as one of the Top 25 Business Law Blogs. In addition, Jordan is a contributor on Forbes.com, where he writes regularly about white-collar crime.

Jordan holds degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from the University of Florida, and obtained his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. Jordan also obtained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance from the University of Miami Graduate School of Business.
