Richard C. Young is a "big picture" kind of guy. Consequently, his Intelligence Report investing service focuses on long-term rewards built on a bedrock of investments that earn top returns without risk to principle.
Intelligence Report embraces a conservative investing strategy, harnessing the full power of blue chip growth stocks riding locked-in trends, high-yielding value stocks and preferred stocks, super-safe Treasury bonds and select mutual funds.
Richard is also editor of Global Investment Strategy. In this service, Young Research, Dick's investment research firm, identifies global investment opportunities and risks and recommends strategies that allow subscribers to profit and protect capital. Global Investment Strategy covers global economic and monetary trends, currencies, commodities and global bond and stock markets including distressed securities and other special situations.
Young began his investment career in 1963 with Clayton Securities in Boston and founded Young Research & Publishing, Inc. in 1978. He's a devoted follower of Graham and Dodd, the founding fathers of financial analysis and remains guided by Graham's definition: "An investment operation is one which, upon thorough analysis, promises safety of principal and satisfactory return. Operations not meeting these requirements are speculative."
Dick sees Intelligence Report as his life-work. "I can make a real, lasting difference to so many private investors this way. I know that all the work that goes in is worthwhile, because subscribers tell me so."As Jack Bogle, former chairman of the Vanguard Group put it, "Dick Young delivers a wealth of cogent and useful information in each issue, and does so with clarity and purpose."
