Dan Passarelli

Author and options educator Dan Passarelli is the founder of  Market Taker Mentoring LLC. He has more than 18 years’ experience in the options industry and has worked as both a floor trader and an options instructor.

Dan began his option trading career as a market maker on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), trading equity options. He has also traded agricultural options and futures at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).

In 2005, Dan began teaching others what he learned from his years in the trading pits. He worked with the Options Institute at CBOE and the Options Industry Council (OIC). Through these organizations, Dan educated thousands of options traders about options fundamentals and the trading techniques and market strategies of successful option traders.

Dan is the author of two popular options books: Trading Option Greeks and The Market Taker’s Edge. Dan has also written numerous articles for financial publications. He has been a featured speaker on radio and television and has presented numerous podcasts and webcasts on options trading.
