Steel Dynamics (NASDAQ:STLD) -0.6% pre-market despite reporting better than expected Q3 adjusted earnings that also came in above prior guidance of $0.46-$0.50, while revenues fell 8% Y/Y to $2.33B.Steel Dynamics' Q3 profit totaled $100.1M, compared with $151M in the year-ago quarter.The company's steel mills operated at 85% of capacity in Q3, with the flat roll group achieving a rate of 99%."Flat roll steel spot prices rebounded during the quarter, as customer inventory levels were extremely low and demand steadily improved," the company says.
