Blackberry (BBRY) has announced that the Z3 ‘Jakarta’ is coming out soon and it will cost under $200.
The tech company’s new 5-inch smartphone will be making its debut in Indonesia this April. The first Jakarta model will be 3G-only but Blackberry CEO John Chen assured that an LTE version will come out “sometime before [he] dies.”
The company collaborated with Foxconn (FXCOF) to create the Z3 which runs BB 10.2.1 and has the classic Blackberry look. The all-touch device has a ridged soft-touch back-cover and it has a long battery life.
BBRY stock is up a whopping 8.5% Tuesday.
