Wednesday Apple Rumors: iPhone 6 Possibly Entering Final Production

Included in the high-quality images are shots of the device’s front display. These images show off how the LCD flex cable, earpiece and the camera all come together near the top of the device. Other images feature the mute and power buttons of the iPhone 6. The power button has a silver finish to it. The last leaked image shows the SIM card tray, which also has a silver finish.

iPad: A new rumor claims that Apple’s next generation iPad mini may release alongside the iPhone 6, Breathecast notes. These rumors claim that the device may also go by a new name. It’s believed that the new device may be called the iPad mini Air. It also may include the new TouchID feature that has been used in the iPhone 5s. Another rumor claims that four different versions of the next generation iPad mini will be available when it releases. This will include 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB versions of the device.

Production: Rumors out of China claim that the iPhone 6 is preparing to enter its final stage of production, reports AppleInsider. The rumor claims that the iPhone 6 has reached the “PVT” phase of production. It also claims that yield rates were up to 90% and that the device will be ready for its rumored September release. The rumor didn’t acknowledge which of the possible new iPhones were about to enter the final stages of production. Other rumors have claimed that the 5.5-inch version of the device has hit production issues.
